Role Overview We are looking for a senior data engineer with 7-10 years of experience to drive enterprise data analytics, reporting, and low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem. The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, data modelling, analytics strategy, and Dataverse-based low-code applications, along with leadership in delivering data-driven decision support systems. Power BI plays a critical role as an enterprise analytics platform for building interactive dashboards and insights to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver enterprise dashboards and reports using Power BI, convert complex data into interactive visual insights for business stakeholders Develop scalable data models and datasets (DAX, Power Query) enable real-time and self-service analytics capabilities across teams Perform data integration, cleansing, and transformation (ETL/ELT), build robust data models combining multiple sources (Azure, SQL, APIs) Implement performance optimisation strategies for large-scale analytics, ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance compliance Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, and deployment pipelines, implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and access controls. Define standards for report development, sharing, and lifecycle management, ensure compliance with enterprise data security policies Design and develop applications using Power Apps and Dataverse, build business workflows using Power Automate Integrate low-code solutions with enterprise systems and APIs, support lifecycle management and deployment across environments Azure SQL / Data Lake, Azure Synapse / Fabric, Azure Data Factory Design data pipelines and integrate analytics solutions, enable cloud-native, scalable, and secure data architectures Required Skills Power BI (Dashboard, DAX, Power Query), Data modelling and data visualisation Dataverse and Power Apps, Power Automate (workflow automation) SQL and relational databases Data warehousing concepts and azure data services Enterprise analytics architecture design, performance tuning of reports and datasets Data governance and security implementation, Integration with APIs and external systems Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science Engineering or related field Good to Have Microsoft Fabric / Synapse Analytics, AI/ML or predictive analytics Real-time dashboards / streaming data, Integration with enterprise applications (ERP, ServiceNow, etc.) What we can offer you Everything we do at Chevron is guided by our values and our commitment to The Chevron Way .
