The Operations Coordinator will serve as the Government Property Site Manager within the GAM division. In this role, the individual is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. Government Property regulations, specifically FAR 52.245-1, while overseeing the full lifecycle management of government-owned property. This includes receipt, inventory, storage, issuance, utilization, and shipment activities. Working under general supervision, the role requires applying foundational knowledge of government property compliance and contributing to continuous improvement through metrics analysis and self-assessments. The position supports operational excellence by partnering with site custodians and coordinators to maintain compliance and drive accountability. Roles and Responsibilities Serve as the site’s Government Property Site Manager (GOPS20) within the GAM division Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 across all aspects of government property management Manage the full lifecycle of U.S. Government property, including receipt, inventory, storage, issuance, utilization, and shipment Conduct metrics tracking and perform regular self-assessments to evaluate compliance and identify improvement opportunities Collaborate with Government Property Custodians and Coordinators to ensure proper processes and controls are maintained Analyze issues and recommend solutions using standard procedures and compliance guidelines Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy for all government property activities Utilize enterprise systems, including SAP and eQuip, to manage and track property records Demonstrate strong communication and coordination across site teams Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree Working knowledge of U.S. Government Property regulations, including FAR 52.245-1 Experience managing or supporting government property lifecycle activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English Ability to work under general supervision with occasional direction Must be a Mexican Citizen or US Expat Must have visa allowing trave to US when necessary Fluent English and Spanish required due to frequent communication with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Government Property Site Manager or similar role Familiarity with SAP and/or eQuip systems Experience conducting compliance metrics, audits, or self-assessments Knowledge of aerospace, defense, or government property environments Demonstrated ability to improve processes and ensure regulatory compliance KBR Benefits KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include medical, life insurance, and food vouchers.
