Technician Machinist II Do you like observing machine operations? Are you a Machinist looking for a new opportunity? Join our Team! Our Oilfield Services Team is assembling and testing the latest products of oilfield equipment, which is beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative completion tools. Partner with the best You'll set-up and operate on special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe/mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining-centers. You're responsible for fabrication of metallic/nonmetallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required. You'll be working with a collaborative team in an innovative, high-technology facility. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for: Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T). Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry. Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant working experience Be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines Demonstrate a basic to intermediate skill level on manual lathe (indicate part, turn OD's, and qualify ID) Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry Have basic communication skills in English language Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
