Solids Control Operator

Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain solids control equipment, including centrifuges, shale shakers, vertical cuttings dryers, and centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment performance and reliability. Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to safely load drilled cuttings into transport trucks. Handle and dispose of drilling waste in accordance with environmental regulations and customer requirements. Accurately document daily operational activities, maintenance performed, equipment performance, and incidents using Windows, Excel, iOS applications, and other reporting tools. Communicate effectively with rig personnel, field supervisors, NOV support teams, and office staff regarding operational changes, equipment status, and HSE concerns. Follow all NOV, customer, federal, and state Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Participate in daily safety meetings, pre-job briefings, and the NOV Observation Program to promote a strong safety culture.
