Water Well Driller

Operate water well drill rigs and associated equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct drilling activities for production, monitoring and water well bores. Complete daily pre-start inspections and ensure drilling equipment is maintained to a high standard. Assist with routine maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of drill rigs and auxiliary equipment. Monitor drilling performance, consumables and metres drilled to support production targets. Complete required drilling reports, safety documentation, permits and site records. Follow all site safety procedures, environmental requirements and safe work practices. Work closely with site supervisors, hydrogeologists, client representatives and other contractors. Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free work area. Support rig mobilisation, demobilisation and movement between drill pads. Lead and mentor Driller Assistants, sharing knowledge and maintaining strong crew performance. Participate in toolbox meetings, pre-starts and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and report hazards, equipment issues and changes to scope of work.
