Job Role Description
In Planning and Stewardship you will have challenging assignments, playing a key role to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management activities within the Upstream/Product Solutions business. The role will be responsible for monitoring company expenses, analyzing financial performance against plans and forecasts, and providing key insights that support business decision-making. Also meet our Financial Reporting obligations and assist our Business counterparts with new developments and projects. There are ~1000 energized employees aiming to provide quality results for the Corporation. We are always looking for ways to enhance our processes understanding different business scenarios and using tools to innovate the way we work. Analyze financial close data, preparation of financial statements and work on system reviewing for accuracy and solvig issues related.
What you will do
Manage planning activities, comparing actual results against key business variables and KPIs.
Analyzes business and / or financial results for insights to understand key business events and factors compared to plans, prior periods, and trends.
Include stewarding plans for headcount, workforce KPIs, technology, supply chain, emissions / sustainability, manufacturing, reliability / maintenance, volumes, and sales specific to a function.
May support the annual planning process.
Participates in benchmarking, special events, and other ad-hoc analysis as required.
Analyze Profit & Loss Statements (P&L) to evaluate operational results versus budget, forecasts, and corporate plans
About you
Mid-level professional (+3 years of experience) with expertise in finance, accounting, FP&A, management control, or related areas.
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
(Accounting and Business Administration preferred).
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, or management reporting.
Advanced/Fluent English
proficiency.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of
US GAAP
standards
