Job Title: Contracts Manager KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position listed below in support of a major Offshore Project. The role will be based at either the Client's Office or the Contractor's Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Job Purpose The Contracts Manager is responsible for the overall administration, management, and governance of all contractual and commercial activities associated with the ADNOC Offshore Project. The role ensures that contractual obligations are effectively managed, project risks are minimized, commercial interests are protected, and all contract administration activities are executed in compliance with ADNOC requirements, project procedures, and industry best practices. The Contracts Manager will serve as the focal point for contractual matters between ADNOC Offshore, PMC, EPC Contractors, Vendors, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Contract Management Lead the administration and management of EPC, procurement, consultancy, and service contracts. Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and project requirements. Interpret contractual provisions and provide guidance to project management and functional teams. Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations. Manage contractual correspondence and maintain accurate contract records. Contract Administration Develop and implement contract administration procedures and controls. Review and evaluate contractor submissions related to contractual matters. Ensure proper documentation of contractual decisions and approvals. Administer contract amendments, variations, and change orders. Maintain contract registers and reporting systems. Commercial Management Protect ADNOC's commercial interests throughout project execution. Evaluate commercial implications of project changes and deviations. Support cost control and project controls teams on contract-related matters. Review commercial proposals and recommendations submitted by contractors. Participate in commercial negotiations and settlement discussions. Claims Management Lead assessment and management of contractor claims, counterclaims, and disputes. Review entitlement, substantiation, and contractual validity of claims. Prepare contractual analyses and recommendations for management. Support negotiation and resolution of contractual disputes. Coordinate with legal advisors when required. Change Management Manage the contract change control process. Review variation orders and assess commercial and contractual impacts. Ensure changes are documented, evaluated, approved, and implemented in accordance with project procedures. Monitor cumulative effects of variations on project cost and schedule. Tendering & Procurement Support Support preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract award recommendations. Review contract terms and conditions during tendering stages. Participate in bidder clarification meetings and commercial evaluations. Ensure compliance with ADNOC procurement policies and procedures. Risk Management Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain project contractual risk registers. Advise project leadership on contractual exposures and potential liabilities. Ensure proactive management of commercial and contractual risks. Stakeholder Coordination Interface with ADNOC Offshore representatives, PMC teams, EPC Contractors, and suppliers. Support project management in contractual negotiations and discussions. Facilitate resolution of commercial and contractual issues. Participate in project review meetings and management presentations. Reporting & Governance Prepare periodic contractual and commercial reports. Present contract status, claims, risks, and change management updates to senior management. Ensure adherence to ADNOC corporate governance standards. Support contractual audits and compliance reviews. Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Preferred Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Commercial Management, Contract Law, or Project Management. Experience Requirements Essential Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Contracts, Commercial, and Project Management within the Oil & Gas industry. Minimum
