Abou Role:
Prepare and optimize well drilling, completion, and workover procedures, ensuring alignment with ADNOC Sour Gas technical, operational, and HSE standards.
Design well trajectory and optimize well profile, drill string, and bottom hole assemblies.
Oversee completion activities on the rig, including planning and executing operations related to completions in onshore gas projects.
Evaluate well designs and advise on cost-effective solutions to enhance well viability.
Identify and mitigate risks in drilling, completion, and well intervention operations.
Review troubled or underperforming wells and recommend remedial solutions to restore productivity.
Collaborate with drilling, subsurface teams, and vendors in planning and executing work.
Manage well delivery with a full life cycle approach, incorporating well design, completions, drilling performance, and new technology applications.
Prepare rig mobilization, demobilization, and orientation plans, as well as wellhead casing and cementing programs to ensure well integrity.
Conduct technical reviews and verification of well completion designs, preparing well abandonment programs and cost estimates.
Ensure timely availability of shared contracted services and resources by consulting with service contractors and relevant production operations departments.
Maximize rig team performance by fostering an enabling environment for collaboration and participation.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
years of experience in drilling operations, including 4 years in a similar role.
