IT Procurement Manager The IT Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship management activities supporting enterprise technology solutions, including software, SaaS applications, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, hardware, telecommunications, and professional services. This role serves as a strategic business partner to Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Finance, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Transformation, and business leaders to ensure technology investments deliver maximum value and align with organizational objectives. The IT Procurement Manager is accountable for developing category strategies, leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiating enterprise agreements, and managing strategic supplier relationships. Working independently and through a team of procurement professionals, this role drives procurement excellence, supports digital transformation initiatives, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and ensures compliance with corporate procurement policies and governance requirements. The position also provides leadership, coaching, and oversight to procurement specialists and category management professionals. The ideal candidate is a strategic procurement leader with extensive experience in technology sourcing, software licensing, cloud services, vendor management, and contract negotiations. The successful candidate combines strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and technical understanding to optimize technology investments, reduce supplier risk, improve vendor performance, and support enterprise transformation initiatives. Trinzic is being established as an independent public company through the planned separation of KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business, which is expected to be completed on January 4, 2027. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for software, cloud services, cybersecurity, telecommunications, hardware, and technology services. Lead supplier evaluations, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and contract awards. Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and spend assessments to identify cost savings and value creation opportunities. Supplier & Commercial Management Manage relationships with strategic technology suppliers and service providers. Lead supplier performance reviews, governance activities, and issue resolution efforts. Negotiate enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, and technology services agreements to optimize commercial value and mitigate risk. Stakeholder Partnership & Governance Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to IT leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and business leaders to support technology initiatives and contract execution. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, audit standards, and regulatory obligations. Procurement Operations & Continuous Improvement Analyze technology spend, supplier performance, and sourcing effectiveness to drive informed decision-making. Lead procurement transformation efforts, process improvements, and adoption of procurement technologies. Develop reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to enhance visibility and accountability. People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop procurement professionals and category specialists. Provide oversight for sourcing activities, negotiations, and contract management processes. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, IT procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, technology category management, or a related procurement function. 5+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience. Demonstrated experience negotiating enterprise software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, telecommunications, and technology services agreements. Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and managing strategic supplier relationships in a corporate IT environment. Experience supporting enterprise technology procurement programs and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
