Environmental/ Regulatory Technician II

We are seeking an experienced Environmental/Regulatory Technician II to support environmental compliance, regulatory permitting, and sustainability initiatives for field operations and project activities. This role will serve as a key liaison between project teams, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements while supporting safe and efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities Support environmental compliance programs and regulatory requirements across project activities. Coordinate permits, approvals, and environmental documentation. Monitor contractor compliance with environmental management plans and regulatory obligations. Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental performance assessments. Track, document, and report compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions. Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental standards into field operations. Assist with environmental training, awareness programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support water transfer, recycling, and resource management activities where applicable. Qualifications Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of environmental, regulatory, or compliance experience (candidates with 2-5 years of highly relevant experience will also be considered). Experience supporting construction, energy, infrastructure, or extractive industry projects. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance programs. Experience managing contractors and working with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with computer systems, reporting tools, and data management. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Water transfer and recycling experience is highly preferred. Preferred Skills Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance experience. Strong problem-solving and project coordination abilities.
