Partner with the best As Senior Infrastructure Configuration Engineer, you will: Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Design Engineers and Product Owners to collect, consolidate, and translate product and design inputs into Product and Project Infrastructure templates, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Project Documentation, Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Engineering Roles and Budget templates, ensuring continuity from new product development through project execution, according to workload fluctuations and business priorities. Own and govern the QCP templates for Florence core products and the P&M portfolio within TPS Teamcenter PLM, ensuring creation, update, validation, and continuous maintenance of the template structure. Relevant Engineering Subject Matter Experts remain accountable for the equipment-specific requirements and technical content. Evaluate, define, integrate, and continuously improve configuration rules to enable newly developed products to be implemented in Product Configurators, promoting reuse of parts and systems, efficiency, and cost-competitive supply chain strategies. Ensure timely generation, accuracy, and consistency of project-specific BOMs and PDOCs in accordance with applicable procedures and Work Instructions, supporting requisition and execution phases, when required to address workload fluctuations and business priorities. Establish, maintain, and govern infrastructure configuration baselines throughout the product and project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and alignment across engineering, quality, and execution domains. Lead the analysis of feedback and lessons learned from requisition project execution to identify recurring gaps, systemic issues, and improvement opportunities, driving sustainable enhancements to the applicable Engineering templates and related governance processes. Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure definition processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to Baker Hughes’ digital transformation and operational excellence objectives. Lead change-management activities related to engineering infrastructure templates and configuration processes, providing senior technical guidance, driving impact assessments, and ensuring that changes are consistently evaluated, documented, aligned with stakeholders, and implemented in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and Work Instructions. Own, develop, and maintain Work Instructions, Procedures, and standards to formalize and standardize infrastructure definition and configuration management processes. Support strategic business projects and initiatives, within the Infrastructure team and within the broader engineering organization when multidisciplinary coordination is required, aimed at modernizing infrastructure tools and processes, including the transition from a document-centric approach toward a Model-Based Enterprise. Provide clear and regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders on progress, risks, achievements, and impacts related to infrastructure deployment, project execution, and strategic business projects and initiatives. Develop action plans to address technical, process, or execution issues, ensuring timely escalation, risk mitigation, and alignment with business priorities. Provide technical guidance to personnel and cross-functional teams, supporting alignment, issue resolution, and successful outcomes. Present or participate in technical, program, and design reviews, ensuring infrastructure configuration aspects, risks, and requirements are clearly addressed and aligned with project and business needs. Lead and coordinate external providers in the implementation of infrastructure solutions within company IT and PLM tools, ensuring alignment with Baker Hughes governance and standards. Collaborate as part of one team across functions, applying a systems-thinking approach, transparency, and shared accountability to deliver high-quality results. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or equivalent) from an accredited University or College. Solid knowledge of Baker Hughes products and systems portfolio (or ability to rapidly acquire it).
