Tax Senior Analyst

What’s In It For You: • Opportunity to work in a dynamic global environment supporting tax compliance, tax accounting, and financial reporting processes • Exposure to direct and indirect tax activities within a shared services organization • Thrive in a company that values continuous improvement, accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence • Professional growth within a global organization What You Will Do: • Tax Compliance & Filing: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate tax returns (VAT/GST, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax) ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and corporate requirements. • General Ledger & Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations between tax returns and General Ledger (GL) accounts to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies while ensuring accurate tax reporting. • Tax Audit & Requests: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authority inquiries, gathering documentation, coordinating responses, and preparing supporting packages. • Income Tax Provision & Reporting: Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations, deferred tax accounting, tax accruals, and related reporting requirements. • Transfer Pricing & Intercompany: Assist in reviewing Transfer Pricing documentation, supporting intercompany transactions, and ensuring local filing compliance with regulatory requirements. • Review and validate tax-related financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations. • Support internal stakeholders with tax information, reporting requirements, and analysis as required. • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial procedures. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the tax and accounting function. Position Details: • Work location: Buenos Aires, Argentina • Work schedule: Full-time, defined workday • Work modality: Hybrid Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field • 4+ years of relevant experience in Tax, Accounting, or Finance roles • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax accounting • Experience with tax reporting, reconciliations, and audits • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Advanced Excel skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in multinational companies or Shared Services environments • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) • Experience with corporate income tax provisions and deferred tax accounting • Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts and compliance requirements • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Professional proficiency in English About Us: ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
