Fuel your passion As a Welder, you will perform cladding and weld repair activities on machined components to the highest quality standards while supporting the production schedule of the facility. You will work on a variety of gas turbine and steam turbine components, applying specialized welding techniques and procedures to ensure reliable and compliant repairs. This role requires the ability to work independently, maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality, and support production requirements across multiple shifts as needed. As a Welder, you will be responsible for: Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality requirements. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions. Applying weld overlays to components using TIG and MIG welding processes in accordance with approved welding procedures. Setting up and welding components within specified welding parameters and quality requirements. Performing detailed grinding and finishing operations following weld repairs. Supporting repair activities on a variety of gas turbine and steam turbine components. Adhering to company Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures. Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable manufacturing standards and customer requirements. Supporting production schedules and operational requirements, including shift flexibility when required. To be successful in this role you will: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Have 7+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or repair environment. Demonstrate experience using foot-controlled TIG and MIG welding equipment. Have experience performing manual TIG welding operations. Demonstrate knowledge of welding procedures and repair techniques. Have experience with SMAW and GMAW welding processes (preferred). Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. An advanced degree may be substituted for a portion of the required experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods during the shift. Ability to safely lift, handle, and maneuver welding equipment and components. Ability to perform grinding, welding, and inspection activities in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding-specific protective gear, safety glasses, and safety shoes. Ability and willingness to work alternate shifts as required to support business needs.
