Job Title: Electrical Inspector Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension) Schedule: 5/40 Sponsorship Provided: No Location: Monaca, PA The Electrical Inspector is responsible for providing electrical inspection and quality assurance support for site electrical assets. This role ensures that electrical equipment, maintenance activities, and installation work comply with applicable codes, standards, site requirements, and industry best practices. Through field inspections, assessments, testing oversight, and verification activities, the Electrical Inspector helps maintain the integrity, reliability, and safe operation of the site's electrical infrastructure. The Electrical Inspector reports up through the assigned production unit(s) and works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Site Technical, Turnaround, and Project organizations to identify equipment deficiencies, verify maintenance quality, support equipment failure investigations, and drive continuous improvement in electrical system performance. The role requires proactive engagement and effective communication with site stakeholders to ensure electrical risks are appropriately managed and inspection findings are resolved in a timely manner. Principal Accountabilities Electrical Inspector Provide inspection oversight, reviews, and technical assurance support to assigned process units. Serve as the primary Electrical Inspector for Polyethylene Unit 3 (PE3) and Logistics Operations, providing inspection oversight, maintenance quality assurance, electrical reliability support, and technical guidance for these areas. Support electrical systems associated with rail loading, truck loading, storage, utility, and logistics infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical equipment within the assigned area. Collaborate with Unit Electrical Engineers on electrical issues, short-term reliability concerns, and long-term electrical planning. Complete and/or review monthly electrical inspections for assigned units. Review and approve isolations and medium-risk permits as authorized and initiate work notifications for equipment malfunctions when required. Serve as a technical resource to Maintenance for preventive maintenance (PM) activities, PM testing, third-party testing, and review of test results and associated data. Develop, review, and execute electrical switching procedures to ensure safe and reliable system operations. Conduct periodic quality assurance inspections of work performed by I&E Technicians, contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers. Provide feedback and performance assessments regarding third-party electrical contractor work quality, performance, and compliance. Ensure electrical Bills of Material (BOMs), drawings, and related technical documentation remain accurate and up to date for assigned units. Support equipment failure investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action development to improve equipment reliability and reduce repeat failures. Work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrument Specialists and, as needed, collaborate with Pressure Equipment Integrity Specialists to support equipment reliability, maintenance quality, and asset integrity objectives. Provide cross-functional support to other production units and site areas as business needs dictate, including temporary coverage during personnel absences, outages, turnarounds, special projects, and peak workload periods. On-call as required and provide after-hours, weekend, and emergency response support for electrical troubleshooting, switching activities, equipment failures, and operational issues. Maintain readiness to respond to emergent electrical reliability, safety, and operational concerns to minimize production impacts and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues. Promote compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, company requirements, and industry best practices while fostering a strong electrical safety culture across the site. #LI-AP5
