The Lab Chemical Analyst is responsible for performing routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support production operations and ensure product quality meets established standards. This role focuses on operational and production testing activities within a manufacturing environment rather than research and development (R&D). Perform routine laboratory testing and quality control analysis on production samples. Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products according to approved procedures. Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and environmental standards. Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment as required. Support production teams by providing timely testing results to facilitate operational decisions. Investigate and escalate abnormal test results where necessary. Maintain proper laboratory documentation and housekeeping standards. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Requirements ITE, Higher Nitec, or Polytechnic Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Applied Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior laboratory testing experience in a manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, lubricant, pharmaceutical, or related environment will have an advantage. Familiarity with quality control testing and laboratory procedures is preferred. Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently. Proficient in basic computer applications and laboratory documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills.
