Crane Operator

Wood is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a Night Shift assignment working a 21/21 offshore rotation to support a Romanian based project for a minimum of 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major gas infrastructure project, supporting the safe and efficient operation of metering and production facilities . The Role Location: Romania/Offshore Site Rotation: 21:21 Duration: Minimum 6 months The Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of offshore lifting operations supporting the well clean-up campaign, GPP back-gassing activities, and hydrocarbon export operations. This role involves conducting pre-start-up crane checks, ensuring Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements are met, and managing deck logistics, cargo handling, and container movements in accordance with operational and safety procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Supervisor and Start-up Team and will ensure all lifting activities are planned and executed safely while maintaining effective communication across offshore teams. The position also plays a key role in promoting HSE excellence through risk assessment participation, toolbox talks, hazard identification, and emergency response support.
