Key Responsibilities: KBR is seeking a a highly motivated Executive Support Action Officer (AO) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration (SAF/SQ). SAF/SQ has overall responsibility for Department of the Air Force (DAF) space systems acquisition and architectures oversight as well as integration of allied, civil, and commercial space capabilities into United States Space Force (USSF) architectures. These responsibilities are carried out in close collaboration with the Chief of Space Operations (CSO) and the USSF staff. SAF/SQ also serves as the Space Service Acquisition Executive (SAE) and oversees and directs the activities of the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (SpRCO), Space Systems Command (SSC), and the Space Development Agency (SDA). SAF/SQ's guiding objectives are to (1) drive speed into space acquisitions, (2) make our space architecture more resilient, (3) integrate our space architecture with other war fighting domains, (4) drive program management discipline across our acquisitions, and (5) ensure that space and ground acquisitions are time phased to optimize operational availability. Achieving these objectives requires a workforce with broadly diverse and deep skills in system engineering, program management, architecture analysis, program planning and budgeting, and executive level communications and support. The Executive Support Action Officer (ESAO) supports the Office of the Assistant Secretary by overseeing and directing the receipt, assignment, tracking and closure of all internal and external tasks. The ESAO manages the staff action tracking system, coordinates special programs actions, and facilitates and guides congressional actions. The ESAO establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office both internally and externally. The selected candidate should thrive in a work environment with high expectations and be able to manage significantly diverse assignments with strict attention to detail. Work Environment: Location: On-site, Pentagon Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%, supporting strong work-life balance Working Hours: Standard Qualifications: Required: -Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance to be considered for the position. Bachelor's Degree and 7-15 years of relevant work experience (Experience in lieu of a degree or a degree in lieu of experience may be permitted). Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior executives and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Skill in using Microsoft Office applications and other standard business software to produce documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports. Ability to foster cooperative and productive working relationships by clearly communicating expectations, encouraging collaboration, and promoting shared understanding. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using clear, concise, and audience?appropriate styles and techniques.- Ability to work collaboratively with personnel at all levels of the customer organization to achieve mission objectives; strong networking, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential.- Skill in planning, organizing, and managing workload requirements, including tracking and maintaining due dates for multiple taskers, deliverables, and products central to the organization's business processes.- Knowledge of task management systems such as the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS). Skill in writing and editing to prepare clear, accurate, and high?quality correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Ability to perform work with a high degree of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrs Basic Compensation: The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
