Marine Electrical Power And Propulsion Expert

As an Electric Power & Propulsion Expert, you will:
Act as the technical expert in marine electrical power systems, electric propulsion, energy management, automation and energy storage.
Provide technical support across the Newbuilding department.
Analyse power network and automation system designs and propose improvements.
Develop and review functional descriptions and operating philosophies, including operator-focused HMI design.
Review and challenge commissioning and testing procedures proposed by equipment manufacturers and shipyards.
Propose and regularly review a continuous performance improvement plan.
Attend sea trials or vessels in operation when required.
Share expertise with other engineers and contribute to company standards, guidelines and drawing approvals.
Work in accordance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS)
, applicable international rules and regulations, and quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies.
