Fabrication Director

Manage the overall production process, from WMP and steel construction through outfitting, assembly and installation.
Lead production managers, supervisors, coordinators and foremen, ensuring sufficient resources and effective manpower planning.
Plan production activities according to delivery schedules and the availability of materials, drawings and components.
Work with Engineering and Work Preparation to optimize work breakdown structures and resolve technical issues.
Drive Lean Production Methods, mechanized welding, production engineering solutions and the adoption of new technologies, equipment and materials.
Recruit, develop and manage employees, including performance assessments and identification of training needs.
Develop and improve work procedures, cross-departmental coordination and production-related quality systems.
Take responsibility for product quality and ensure production meets technical specifications, quality standards, timelines and budgets.
Report on departmental performance, developments and KPIs, and support departmental strategy and action plans.
Lead workplace safety, ensure compliance with applicable standards, address hazards and risks, and promote toolbox talks, hazard hunts and safety town halls.
