Engineering Intern

Overall Purpose of the Job

Provide engineering support to the Engineering team through technical documentation, basic engineering calculations, testing activities, data analysis, and continuous improvement projects while gaining practical experience in tool design, qualification, and operations.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Prepare and update technical documents, reports, and procedures.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and data analysis.
• Support setup, execution, and documentation of tool testing activities.
• Collect, organize, and report test results and engineering data.
• Assist with troubleshooting, failure investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Support product validation, qualification, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.
• Work safely and collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering field.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Interest in oilfield equipment, downhole tools, and product testing.
