QC Inspector

The QC Inspector will support the Coating quality department by performing inspections and tests on coated components The role requires close collaboration with production teams to maintain high-quality standards, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all work complies with company SOPs and industry specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and non‑destructive inspections of coated parts according to SOPs.
• Measure and verify coating thickness, adhesion, and surface finish using calibrated equipment.
• Document inspection results, generate reports, and track non‑conformances in the quality system.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation for defect trends.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, client specifications, and applicable industry codes.
• Maintain inspection tools and calibration records to guarantee measurement accuracy.
• Support production teams by providing real‑time feedback on quality issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits, preparing required documentation.
• Promote a safety‑first culture by identifying hazards related to coating processes.
• Continuously improve inspection procedures through critical thinking and best‑practice research.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing or coating environments.
• Proficiency with coating inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, coating thickness gauges, ultrasonic testers).
• Strong understanding of coating processes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and technical documents.
• Excellent critical‑thinking skills for problem identification and resolution.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, API standards) is a plus.
