Service Specialist III- Managed Pressure Drilling (Al-Khobar, 04, SA, 31952)

Job Duties

Under general supervision, the successful candidate will:

• Supervises, directs, and performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore.
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities.
• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
• Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results.
• Properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
• Conducts pre-job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative, and manages any changes required.
• Must be able to review information received from Business Development to confirm best practices are followed and that proposed job plans meet customer's expectations in the most efficient manner.
• Must be able to communicate with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity compatibility.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Good mathematical acumen is required. Good reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Skills acquired through completion of high school diploma and 9+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 5+ years of underblanaced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling. Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec III-GBA.
