Mechanical Engineering Manager

Mechanical Technical Manager - Data Centres Madrid, Spain About the Opportunity Our client is an international infrastructure developer delivering next-generation hyperscale and AI-ready data centre campuses across Europe.
They are seeking a Mechanical Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across cooling systems, HVAC infrastructure and mechanical design for a growing portfolio of mission-critical developments in Spain.
This position offers the opportunity to influence projects from concept design through construction and commissioning while working within a highly collaborative client-side environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering and design review activities.
• Develop and assess cooling strategies for hyperscale and high-density environments.
• Review HVAC, chilled water, heat rejection and cooling plant systems.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with electrical, civil and architectural disciplines.
• Support equipment selection, procurement and technical evaluations.
• Manage consultant and contractor technical deliverables.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities or complex industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, chilled water and cooling infrastructure.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Fluent English required.
