ExxonMobil in Malaysia

In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil’s Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.

What role you will play in our team

Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships for the sale of goods and / or services to meet business objectives. Following sales processes and executing sales plans, serve as the primary contact for customer interactions, representing our brands and culture to outside parties.

• Develop and maintain relationship with customers and distributors
• Identify potential clients, analyze business opportunities while generate pipelines through leads conversion
• Gather market information and trends while provide useful analysis to management relevant to the business
• Support developmental efforts in ASEAN countries to achieve business growth
• Ensure compliance to business control processes related to the conduct of the business

What will you do

• Account Management: Build relationship with customers and resellers; maintain and follow account plans
• Sales Execution: Assist customers and resellers by addressing routine commercial needs and coordinating with internal teams to fulfill customer requirements
• Opportunity Identification: Grow sales with existing customers, while prospecting for new customers and managing a pipeline of new opportunities
• Value Selling: Understand economic impacts of various offer elements and follows pricing guidelines
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to resolve basic issues and contribute to cross functional initiatives

About you

• Minimum holding a bachelor’s degree from well-recognized overseas/local university
• Fluent English written and spoken proficiency – IELTS > 6 or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years working experience in plastic / polymer related field is preferred
• Malaysian citizenship or permanent residency in Malaysia
• Good Chinese written and spoken proficiency, good command of Thai language will be an added advantage
