Digital Control Systems Engineer

The main responsibilities for this position are:

• configure and on-site tests of DCS solutions,
• verify project design against local regulations,
• coordinate project design between multi-national teams,
• manage technical discussions between various project stakeholders to compromise the client’s requirements ver. feasibility,
• aftersales support for clients in the region;
• technical support for the project teams, as well as sales and tendering teams,
• deliver customer trainings (presentations, hands-on training),

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Technical High School Diploma or equivalent required – automation, IT systems, electrotechnical faculties being most relevant ones;
• Experience:
• HMI’s and SCADA Gateways e.g. ZENON, SPRECON, SYNDIS RV, PACIS, etc.
• substation communication protocols, eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104/101/103, Modbus,
• network management protocols like SNMP,
• acquaintance of DCS systems e.g. DS Agile will be a plus
• configuring network devices, firewalls, routers, domain controllers, etc. will be a plus
• Experience with protection relays will be a plus,
• Sound interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse groups of clients, both external and internal;
• Specific knowledge:
• Very good German
• Very good English
• Ukrainian/Russian will be a plus
• Driving license valid in EU is mandatory;

The position involves frequently delegations.
