Job Roles Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Recommend and implement innovative business strategies and identify efficiencies to elevate travel operations, enhancing the overall traveler experience.
• Provide insight into corporate travel industry best practices and make recommendations to create operational efficiencies.
• Proactively engage with key stakeholders and business divisions with analysis and recommendations to influence traveler behavior and drive cost savings and technology adoption.
• Collaborate and partner closely with category managers and technology manager on business requirements and unique regional/local needs to optimize travel program offerings.
• Partner with key functional groups to align business needs and requirements and enable efficiencies in the travel process.
• Support day-to-day operations by troubleshooting issues, identifying transactional efficiencies and ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.
• Ensure required operational and controls processes are followed across the designated geography.
• Responsible for implementation of new agreements / initiatives / products, program administration, agency stewardship and customer support.
• Oversee MSP performance, project delivery, and service delivery within provider´s scope.
• Ad hoc: provide operational insights and service delivery expectations for bid evaluations. Actively participate in bid evaluations and reviews.
Job Requirements
• Bi-lingual (local language and English)
• Bachelor degree and above
• Strong understanding of the global business travel industry, including working knowledge of business travel service delivery, technology, and processes.
• 5 years travel operations experience desired, awareness of global travel landscape.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a global, multicultural environment to drive global travel program success
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to deal with multiple, shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to simplify complex concepts into layman’s terms for greater stakeholder understanding.
• Critical thinker - able to propose solutions which challenge the status quo and identify root cause of service issues and employ sustainable solutions.
• Proactive, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ability to own projects from initial inquiry to completion.
• Strong customer service focus with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Building strong vendor relationships and managing third parties effectively, while holding them accountable for their deliverables.
