Hiring Inventory Control Coordiantor that will perform basic tasks for shipment or receipt of goods. Come join our Odessa team! Job Description Material movement including loading and unloading trucks and moving material from location to location by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors or other material handling equipment. Prepares outbound shipment of materials including staging, packaging, labeling, counting, and document preparation. Arranges for trucking and communicates with other stakeholders in the shipping process. Will work under the general direction of the site Logistics Coordinator Loads and unloads trucks according to established safety and operating procedures. Take complete responsibility for preparation of shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport. Process paperwork and arrange for transport through 3rd party provider. Communicate shipments status and other information to necessary FMC personnel. Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to requestor. Process paperwork. Assists in customer audits and cycle counts to support inventory control activities. Use basic computer knowledge to research equipment in SAP and iMan. You are meant for this job if: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.  Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education, if candidate successfully completes an aptitude and reading comprehension. 2+ years’ experience in receiving, materials, warehousing or related areas in a similar environment and complete understanding of receiving, operations, and safety and quality procedures a bachelor’s degree in related field may be substituted for prior experience. Experience in freight traffic coordination and material transportation planning Experience in verifying orders by reviewing shipping documentations such as bills of lading, packing slips, delivery notes, purchase orders. Knowledge and proficiency in basic PC operation using Microsoft Office, SAP preferred but not necessary. Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures and ensure those policies and procedures are being followed by associates involved in logistics. Ability to handle multiple task and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment where meeting customer delivery dates requires urgency. Skills Receiving Shipping
