Process Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities Lead the process engineering discipline for offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical quality Develop, review, and approve key engineering deliverables, including: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Heat & Material Balances Process simulations and calculations Equipment sizing and datasheets Provide technical leadership and guidance to process engineers within the team Interface and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, etc.) Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and international standards Support and participate in process safety studies (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessments) Manage client interactions and act as the focal point for process-related discussions Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies during project execution Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline Significant experience in oil & gas offshore projects, preferably FPSO/FSO Proven experience in a Lead Process Engineer role within FEED and/or EPC phases Strong expertise in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim) Sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations (API, ISO, etc.) Experience in handling multidisciplinary coordination and stakeholder engagement Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
