Conduct tender evaluation, contract formulation and post award contract in conformity with the project’s objectives.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; text-decoration: underline;">KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</span></strong></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;"><strong><u>Procurement & Contracts</u></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Provide an accurate and timely input for the development of project’s contractual strategies in line with the project’s requirements.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Prepare, update and modify contracts and contractual documents related to projects to safeguard the Company’s interests all potential risks related to third party performance (operational, financial, legal, etc.).</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Conduct procurement activities (from pre-qualification to recommendation for contract award) in line with approved policies and procedures.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Identify contractual risks and ensure the timely mitigation through effective terms and conditions.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Participate in reviewing the scope of work to avoid contractual misinterpretations and minimise variations and claims during the project’s execution.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Participate in the preparation of contractual response to address Contractors issues during the tendering and execution phases.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Evaluate and develop negotiation strategies for effectively managing the changes, variations, and claims and minimize the contractual impacts.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Coordinate and follow-up to ensure the timely availability of procured materials.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Support in closing out of contracts and issuance of completion certificates as per the contractual provisions.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; text-decoration: underline;">QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS</span></strong></span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Bachelor Degree in Engineering.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· 6 years of experience in procurement and contracts activities related to projects in the Oil and Gas industry.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Understanding of contract terms and conditions, commercial acumen and attention to detail.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Familiarity of standard industry forms of contracting and their operative effects.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Experience of both pre-award and post-award phases of a project.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Exposure in the commercial and legal issues impacting business and the delivery of projects.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Strong experience in execution and implementation of contracts management activities capital projects in oil and gas industry.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Strong experience in functions such as enquiry preparation, enquiry management, tender evaluation, contract formulation, contract administration, etc.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Familiarity with purchasing, inspection, expediting, shipping, material control and project procurement.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· Thorough knowledge of materials used in Oil & Gas industry.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black;">· In depth knowledge of oi
