Project Performance & Reporting Analyst

Position: Projects Performance & Reporting Analyst Industry: Oil & Gas Location: Doha, Qatar Role Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Projects Performance & Reporting Analyst to develop and manage integrated performance reporting across project portfolios. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful reporting through advanced analytics, enterprise systems, and digital platforms enabling data-driven decision-making for senior management within Project Services and the wider Directorate. Key Responsibilities: Performance Reporting & Analytics Design, develop and continuously enhance project, programme, and portfolio performance reports and dashboards aligned with corporate standards. Produce insightful analytics covering cost, schedule, progress, risk, and overall project performance. Consolidate and synthesise inputs from cross-functional teams into clear, concise executive-level reports and presentations. Systems & Data Management Act as the primary focal point for project performance reporting systems. Ensure alignment and integration with enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA (PS/EPPM) and other reporting tools. Translate business requirements into functional specifications, collaborating with ICT and system stakeholders. Business Intelligence & Insights Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards to support portfolio visibility and performance tracking. Identify trends, deviations, and risks across projects, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Enable cross-project analysis to support strategic oversight and informed decision-making. Process Improvement & Digitalisation Identify opportunities to automate and digitalise reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Support the development of business cases and functional requirements for system enhancements. Analyse reporting processes and system performance to drive standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives. Stakeholder Collaboration Engage with internal stakeholders including Project teams, Planning, Cost & Budget teams, and ICT. Ensure data accuracy, governance, and reporting consistency across all systems and outputs. Key Accountabilities: Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely project performance reports. Maintain consistency and integrity of reporting data across systems. Support management with actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years’ experience in performance reporting, business intelligence, or business analysis within large-scale project or portfolio environments (Oil & Gas experience preferred). Strong understanding of project and portfolio management principles. Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA (PS/EPPM).
