Interface/Project Control Engineer

JOB PURPOSE Responsible in development of preliminary project execution plan. Responsible in the preparation of all the required project control systems during project initiation. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Support all the required project control systems, their set up and integration through common coding and structure. Assist in performing schedule and cost variance analysis, what-if scenarios, and project risk status. Assist with relevant departmental tasks to ensure project deliverables are met and executed. Support project control reporting by preparing, consolidating, and issuing project performance reports to project stakeholders. Responsible to monitor and track all interface-related deliverables including data issuance, load summaries, Interface lists, Interface Register and control philosophies, while ensuring proper revision control and timely submission. COMPETENCIES, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS: COMPETENCIES: Functional Project Management. Contractual, Operation and Technical Awareness to understand contractual obligation for effective project management. Claims and dispute management and negotiations. Statutory/regulatory/legal management and administration. Leadership Entrepreneurship Strategic Agility Inspirational Leadership Building Relationship EXPERIENCE: At least 7 years of work experience, with 5 years related to project management. An exposure in the oil and gas industry is and added advantage. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other equivalent professional qualification.
