Principal Risk Adviser (6-Month Contract) Location: Perth, Australia Contract: 6-month parental leave cover About the Role Airswift is seeking a Principal Risk Adviser for a 6-month parental leave cover. This role is suited to an experienced risk professional who is confident operating autonomously while partnering closely with senior leaders across the business. This position will lead enterprise risk management activities across corporate pillars, with a strong focus on emerging risk, stakeholder engagement and the practical application of risk frameworks. The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser, providing insight and constructive challenge to support informed decision-making at an executive level. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise risk management activities across corporate pillars, ensuring consistent and practical application of risk frameworks Provide clear, strategic advice and challenge to senior leaders and executives on current and emerging risks Develop and maintain the organisation’s emerging risk profile, identifying key themes, trends and exposures Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships across corporate functions Facilitate risk workshops, review sessions and discussions to strengthen accountability and ownership Prepare and present risk insights to senior stakeholders to support business decision-making Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of enterprise risk management practices, tools and reporting Deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment while working with a high degree of autonomy Key Requirements Around 10 years’ experience in corporate risk, compliance, legal or a related discipline Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks within complex corporate environments Proven ability to engage, influence and present to senior leaders and executive stakeholders Demonstrated capability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively Experience partnering with diverse corporate functions and managing stakeholder relationships Oil and gas experience is advantageous, though not essential Relevant qualifications in risk, compliance, legal or similar disciplines are beneficial How to Apply To apply, please send your CV to: [email protected] or +61 (8) 6187 6167
