JOB SCOPE:
The Warehouse Attendant will focus on assets and inventory for the operations, the individual will perform a combination of tasks as it relates to receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products in accordance with Weatherford Standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Storage
Maintain bin locations of all warehoused material.
Organize material on shelves neatly and in a logical manner.
Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated area by hand, forklift, or other.
Inventory Accuracy
Cycle Counting
Verify quantities and count independently as required.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Picking – Issuing Material
Pick and deliver material and components from stock to production orders required by Manufacturing.
Pick and deliver material and components from stock to sales orders and STOs. ·
Pick and deliver material and components from stock to repair orders.
Issue materials requested independently from picks and restock unused material.
Receiving
Receive incoming shipments from production or suppliers.
Open crates, and other containers, using appropriate tools. ·
Verify quantities, PO numbers, line numbers and other pertinent information on the packing slip and update the system accordingly. ·
Route received material to QC or directly to stock as needed.
Return discrepant material to suppliers.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace
Instructions Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics/Project Management
Three to five years’ general warehouse experience
English Speaking
Ability to operate forklift is an asset.
Customer focused.
Individuals must be adaptive to change, have multi-tasking ability.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Should be able to work closely with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
