Job Title: - Construction Superintendent – Lifting – Offshore 6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off KBR Abu Dhabi is currently looking to fill a position of Construction Superintendent - Lifting for an Offshore Project to be based initially for some time Office and then move to Offshore Site on 6 weeks/ 3 weeks rotation ( as per client requirement). The Construction Superintendent – Lifting (Offshore) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all offshore lifting operations, including crane and marine‑related lifts, ensuring operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with offshore regulations and project requirements. This role plays a critical part in managing SIMOPS, weather‑sensitive lifting activities, and interface coordination between offshore construction, marine, and HSE teams. Key Responsibilities Offshore Lifting & Crane Operations Plan, supervise, and control all offshore lifting operations, including routine, heavy, and critical lifts. Review, approve, and implement offshore lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments. Ensure correct selection and utilization of offshore cranes, pedestal cranes, vessel cranes, and lifting accessories. Oversee lifting activities involving platforms, jackets, modules, subsea items, and equipment transfer. Coordinate lifts between offshore facilities and supply vessels, barges, and jack‑up rigs. Requirements Minimum Overall 17+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry. Having minimum 5+ years of previous experience working in ADNOC Projects. 10–15 years of construction experience, with 5+ years in offshore lifting supervision. Proven experience in offshore construction, platform, jacket, or marine lifting operations. Demonstrated experience managing heavy, complex, and weather‑sensitive offshore lifts. Must have worked at least 5 years of experience in similar position for mega oil and gas FEED/ EPC project ( more than US$ 1 Billion) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST.
