About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
, who you will work hands-on with PLC and HMI systems, supporting the full lifecycle - from software development and design to offshore commissioning and service activities.
This is a practical, field-connected engineering role where your work directly impacts system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction across global projects.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain
PLC and HMI software
for control systems
Create and update
technical drawings and documentation
for electrical control systems
Support
installation, testing, and commissioning
activities
Perform
offshore and on-site service work
Collaborate with
customers and subcontractors
, ensuring technical alignment
Follow up on
shipyard activities and system integration
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:
Degree/educational background in relevant field (e.g.
Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Control, Mechatronics
, or similar)
5-10 years of experience
with
PLC and HMI systems
Ability to work in
complex, problem-solving environments
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
Fluent in
English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with
offshore or marine environments
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in relevant field
Background in
commissioning or service engineering
Exposure to
global project environments
Norwegian language
is an advantage
