What role you will play on our team We are looking for an Employee Communications Advisor to help us create engaging communications that our employees want and need. We are constantly looking for opportunities to share more about the work we do in unique, creative ways, and this role will play a critical part in this effort. What you will do Partner closely with members of the employee communications team to create comprehensive plans for key topics across the company or business lines Bring strategic plans to life by crafting content across several internal channels, including intranet posts, emails, digital signs, and leader presentations, to name a few Work with creative partners (internal resources and external agencies) as needed to bring your story ideas to life with multimedia assets Follow standardized processes to ensure content is created, reviewed and approved in a timely manner across channels About you Skills and Qualifications We are looking for someone with a passion for storytelling, AP-style writing, and collaboration. All candidates must be professionals with excellent organizational skills and a track record for delivering results to support multiple projects in a rapidly evolving environment. You have: •    Bachelor’s Degree (in communications, journalism, or related field preferred) •    Minimum of 12 years of experience •    Experience in employee communications, content creation, editing, or related areas •    Experience working with subject matter and translating technical content into digestible communications for broad audiences •    Expert level writing and editing skills •    Expert level storytelling skills •    Initiative and are a self-starter •    A journalistic curiosity •    Familiarity and interest in issues related to energy, economics, the environment, sustainability, corporate citizenship and government relations •    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to apply learning to other database environments •    Strong communication and project management skills with an eye for creative design and compelling writing Preferred Qualifications/ Experience •    Ability to translate stories into a variety of multimedia formats including (but not limited to!) infographics, pictographs, lists, videos, animations, etc. •    Strong communication and project management skills with an eye for creative design and compelling writing •    Ability to work quickly and under pressure •    A positive, proactive team-oriented attitude, culturally sensitive and ideally familiar with the working environment of a large, international organization •    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships •    Strong analytical, oral communication Your benefits An ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
