Field Engineer

Locations: St. Louis, MO others San Antonio, TX | Dallas, TX | Memphis, TN | Northern LA / Birmingham or Huntsville, AL We are looking for Field Service Engineers with a strong background in power delivery and switchgear . This is a hands-on role supporting commissioning and testing work at industrial sites, including automotive plants. What you’ll be doing: Commissioning and testing switchgear (mostly already installed gear, mid-project) Power Delivery / Switchgear Relay testing and troubleshooting protection systems Supporting energization and startup Working directly in the field at customer sites What we’re looking for: Around 5+ years of experience with switchgear and power systems Strong background in relay testing and commissioning Comfortable working independently in the field Industrial or plant experience (GM or similar is a plus)  Mostly local work within your state/region Use your own vehicle + mileage reimbursement Hotels covered if travel is outside your local area With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
