Virtual Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities The vMSL's objective is to provide healthcare providers (HCPs) with the required scientific and clinical knowledge that meaningfully and precisely addresses their inbound requests. This role requires efficient and precise synthesis of the latest research on products, disease states, and standard of care within cardiometabolic health. The vMSL is responsible for ensuring that all inbound requests for in-depth, cutting-edge scientific information from the medical community receive a timely response including the latest scientific information. The vMSL will be required to engage in continuous learning to maintain the highest level of technical expertise within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area. This will enable the MSL to answer deep scientific questions. They will serve as the primary interface between Lilly Medical and HCPs to address clinical care gaps for improved patient outcomes. The vMSL effectively synthesizes and communicates actionable customer/clinical insights to internal Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams. They will use good judgement in decision-making and escalate issues as appropriate. They cultivate internal networks and collaborate effectively across functions including working closely with other field-based colleagues. They embrace change, exercise strategic agility with evolving business needs, and utilize innovative resources, as well as execute the role compliantly, adhering to all governing internal and external requirements, procedures, and laws.
