Director Data And Ai Governance Enterprise 12 Month Contract

Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide data and AI governance and first-line assurance activities, ensuring consistent oversight and continuous improvement Conduct targeted assurance reviews across business functions and high-risk data/AI initiatives to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations Develop, track, and report on governance, risk, control, and assurance metrics; design dashboards to monitor effectiveness and compliance posture Chair governance forums, advisory boards, and working groups to align data and AI initiatives with organizational goals and risk appetite Oversee the development, maintenance, and communication of data and AI governance policies, standards, and procedures Evaluate governance processes and drive remediation and improvement initiatives where gaps are identified Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data leaders, technology, legal, compliance, audit, and risk teams Monitor evolving data and AI regulatory requirements (e.g., global data protection and AI frameworks) and ensure ongoing compliance Support the design and delivery of governance training and awareness programs across the organization Contribute to leadership direction on responsible data and AI governance and its role in enabling business value
