General Manager Operations Chemical Processing

Provide strategic leadership for all plant operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing performance. Lead day-to-day operations across Production, Maintenance, Utilities, Engineering, Technical Services, and Operational Excellence functions. Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives, production targets, and long-term growth plans. Foster a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, plant reliability, process efficiency, energy utilization, and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and international best practices. Lead annual budgeting, production planning, operational forecasting, and performance management. Collaborate closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and Corporate leadership to optimize overall business performance. Lead capital improvement projects, plant expansion initiatives, and operational transformation programs where required. Develop, coach, and mentor senior operational leaders while building a high-performance organizational culture. Establish and monitor key operational KPIs, ensuring sustainable business performance and continuous improvement.
