We are seeking an experienced
Onshore Subsea Support Equipment Module Construction Lead
to join a major international LNG development during a critical execution phase. This is an exciting opportunity to represent the operator at contractor offices, fabrication workshops, and construction yards, ensuring the successful delivery of complex subsea support equipment modules.
Working within the Company Provided Items (CPI) team, you will oversee fabrication, assembly, module integration, testing, and final delivery, ensuring all activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the operator's on-site representative for the fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and delivery of onshore subsea support equipment modules.
Monitor contractor performance throughout engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and mechanical completion activities.
Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, HSE requirements, and project schedules.
Coordinate construction activities with engineering, quality, logistics, and package management teams to ensure successful project execution.
Review contractor documentation including assembly procedures, testing procedures, GA drawings, transportation and packing plans, providing technical feedback where required.
Witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Extended FAT (EFAT), and System Integration Tests (SIT).
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure successful packaging, shipment, and delivery of completed modules.
Monitor construction progress, planning, and reporting, providing regular progress updates and weekly reports to project management.
Support the evaluation of contractor change orders and assess execution impacts and project interfaces.
Lead and coordinate on-site resources, including QA/QC personnel, ensuring continuous company representation throughout fabrication activities.
HSE Responsibilities
Champion a strong safety culture and demonstrate visible safety leadership at all times.
Ensure construction activities comply with company HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in safety audits, site inspections, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote safe working practices across all contractor and subcontractor activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent), with Chartered or Professional Engineer status preferred.
Minimum
15 years' experience
in construction management, including at least
10 years working on subsea EPC projects
.
Extensive experience managing the construction, integration, testing, and delivery of subsea support equipment, including:
Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs)
Chemical injection and boosting systems
Electrical power units
Control stations
Subsea production system equipment
Strong understanding of subsea production system design codes, fabrication, assembly, and testing standards.
Proven experience overseeing contractor execution in fabrication yards and manufacturing facilities.
Strong planning, progress monitoring, reporting, and project coordination skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
Fluent English is essential.
