Electrical Engineer IV Duration: 12 months (possibility of extension) Location: Houston, TX Rotation: 5/40 Position Overview This Electrical Engineer opportunity is focused on overseeing the design of pump station facilities for expansion and maintenance capital projects. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with third-party engineering firms and internal project stakeholders to help ensure designs meet applicable standards, project requirements, budget expectations, and delivery timelines. Position offers a strong technical scope across design review, engineering coordination, and field support activities. Role Context This role sits within the energy infrastructure sector and supports liquids pump station facilities tied to expansion and maintenance capital projects. Work is primarily office-based with multiple project teams, alongside some field activity to support project scoping, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Oversee third-party engineering consultants to support delivery of quality design outputs in line with project budgets and schedules. Ensure pump station facility designs align with applicable regulations, industry codes, and company standards. Design electrical components and interconnections for assigned projects. Review and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets. Participate in design review meetings with engineering, project, operations, and construction stakeholders to review scope, design intent, performance expectations, and constructability. Review vendor quotations, complete technical evaluations, and recommend selections based on technical merit, price, and delivery considerations. Identify and communicate lessons learned and quality-related issues across assigned projects. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 4 years of industry experience (experience with pump station preferred). Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritise tasks effectively. trong problem-solving capability using standards, previous experience, and practical engineering judgement. Ability to communicate technical issues and impacts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. #LI-AP5
