Construction Director
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall construction execution for major energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects across South Korea.
Manage relationships and negotiations with EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and construction partners.
Oversee project execution strategy, construction planning, scheduling, and site coordination activities.
Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, construction milestones, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
Drive contractor performance management, including productivity, quality, HSE compliance, and commercial obligations.
Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve site-related technical and operational issues.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, regulatory bodies, and external partners to support project delivery requirements.
Support contract administration, claims management, variation negotiations, and commercial discussions with EPC contractors.
Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.
Lead site management teams and promote a strong safety and performance-driven culture across all phases of execution.
Provide regular reporting to senior management on project performance, execution status, and critical project issues.
Support commissioning, start-up, handover, and project close-out activities.
