Are you a trade-qualified Mechanical Technician or Mechanical Fitter looking for your next FIFO opportunity?
We are seeking experienced maintenance professionals to join a well-established underground gold mining operation in Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your fixed plant maintenance and troubleshooting skills while working within a high-performing maintenance team. The successful candidate will enjoy an ongoing roster with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive hourly rate + superannuation on all hours
FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster
Day shift roster initially
Fortnightly pay via NES Fircroft's online payroll system

About You We are looking for candidates who possess:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Minimum 2 years' maintenance experience within mining, fixed plant, processing plant or heavy industry environments
Strong fault-finding skills with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical equipment
Current Working at Heights, Confined Space and White Card
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and maintenance documentation
Highly regarded:
HR Driver's Licence
High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
Underground mining experience
The Job Role Working as part of the Fixed Plant Maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:
Performing preventative maintenance, inspections and breakdown repairs on critical fixed plant equipment
Maintaining crushers, conveyors, dewatering systems, ventilation equipment and associated mechanical assets
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical faults
Supporting shutdowns and planned maintenance activities while ensuring plant reliability and availability
Maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork in a production-focused mining environment
