Key Responsibilities Support the safe and efficient operation of distributed generation solar PV assets, including rooftop and commercial & industrial (C&I) installations. Monitor asset performance, availability, generation output, and operational KPIs, identifying and addressing performance issues when required. Diagnose and resolve technical issues relating to PV modules, inverters, monitoring systems, DC/AC electrical systems, and balance-of-system equipment. Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximise system reliability and availability. Manage and coordinate O&M contractors, service providers, customers, technical teams, and relevant authorities to ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and to the required standards. Provide technical support during inspections, testing, fault investigations, and rectification works. Review maintenance reports, technical findings, contractor deliverables, and site documentation. Ensure all maintenance and operational activities comply with HSE requirements, customer site regulations, industry standards, and local regulatory requirements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance records, risk assessments, work instructions, method statements, permits, and inspection reports. Analyse operational and performance data to identify opportunities for improved generation output, asset reliability, and maintenance efficiency. Lead or support root cause investigations related to equipment failures, recurring faults, safety incidents, and asset underperformance. Support the implementation of improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and optimising maintenance practices. Prepare technical reports, incident summaries, performance updates, and asset status reports for internal stakeholders. Participate in tendering activities, including the preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of contractor proposals, and technical clarification meetings. Support M&A and asset acquisition activities through technical document reviews, site inspections, technical due diligence assessments, and asset handover processes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline. Proven experience in solar PV operations and maintenance, renewable energy asset management, or electrical power systems. Experience working with distributed generation, rooftop solar, or commercial & industrial solar projects is highly preferred. Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, DC and AC electrical equipment, monitoring platforms, protection systems, and balance-of-system components. Ability to troubleshoot solar PV system faults and interpret technical documents, including single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, performance data, and maintenance records. Experience coordinating contractors, managing site activities, and overseeing maintenance programmes. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements, risk assessment processes, permit-to-work systems, and industry best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and reporting skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and stakeholders effectively. Valid driving licence is advantageous. Fluency in Vietnamese and working proficiency in English.
