Ptw Coordinator

For a large industrial construction project in the Rotterdam area, we are looking for an experienced Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator for a project on the Maasvlakte. In this role, you will coordinate the Permit to Work process on site and help ensure that work is carried out safely and in accordance with project procedures and HSE requirements. Responsibilities Review and process Permit to Work (PTW) applications. Check permits for completeness and verify that all required documentation has been provided. Maintain the PTW register and ensure permit records are up to date. Participate in daily PTW coordination meetings with contractors and the site team. Identify conflicting activities and support the coordination of simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). Carry out regular site visits to verify that work is being performed in line with approved permits. Monitor compliance with the project's PTW procedures and HSE requirements. Provide updates on permit status to the project team where required. Key Tasks Coordinate permits for activities including hot work, cold work, working at height and confined space entry. Verify supporting documentation such as RAMS, risk assessments and lifting plans before permits are issued. Liaise with construction, operations, HSE and contractor teams to coordinate planned work. Conduct PTW audits and workplace inspections. Maintain accurate permit documentation and records. Support the close-out and archiving of completed permits. Provide guidance on PTW procedures where needed. Requirements Experience coordinating Permit to Work systems on construction, industrial, offshore or energy projects. Good understanding of Permit to Work processes and safe systems of work. Knowledge of HSE requirements and site safety procedures. Experience working with electronic PTW systems. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Able to work with multiple contractors and stakeholders in a busy project environment. Comfortable carrying out site inspections. Qualifications Relevant HSE qualification (such as VCA or equivalent). Engineering or technical background is an advantage. Experience within construction, energy or heavy industry is preferred. Good command of both Dutch and English.
