Technical Assistant Mechanical

Technical Assistant – Mechanical 12-Month Contract Esbjerg Denmark Orion Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Assistant – Mechanical to support a major Oii & Gas project. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background who enjoys working with technical data and ensuring the accuracy of engineering information within ERP systems. Responsibilities Review and validate Mechanical Material Master data. Analyse technical specifications, equipment information and vendor documentation. Improve the quality and consistency of technical master data. Ensure accurate classification and descriptions of mechanical materials and spare parts. Coordinate updates with engineering and maintenance stakeholders. Track approvals and ensure all changes are implemented and fully documented. Requirements Experience within mechanical maintenance, technical services, procurement or master data management . Good understanding of industrial equipment and mechanical spare parts. Experience using SAP or another ERP/Maintenance Management System . Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment documentation. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
