Scope includes long term planning, regulatory compliance and operational support for HSE aspects during well construction, intervention and decommissioning activities. The role also includes the management of key HSE contracts and contractors.   Location: Aberdeen Duration: 2-year contract Contract Type: PAYE Day Rate: TBC - For your application to be progressed, please ensure you provide a PAYE day rate banding expectation.  Please only apply if you have existing right to work in the UK. Please outline notice period/availability to start.  Spirit Energy currently have a non-contractual hybrid working arrangement for all office-based workers. 4 days must be worked in the office with compulsory days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth day worked in-office (either Monday or Friday) is of the worker’s choosing but should be in keeping with what is most efficient and effective for their team. The office is open 5 days a week for full time, in-office working if this is the contractor’s preference.    AND NOW FOR THE TECHNICAL BIT… In role, you will be responsible for::  Monitoring, review and improvement of ongoing HSE performance and management system Provision of technical input and support for wells & decommissioning risk assessments Managing external/regulatory and internal stakeholders including HSEx inspections during decommissioning operations Delivery of HSE Notifications for well P&A Management of combined operations (COMOPS), bridging arrangements and emergency response during decommissioning and well P&A activities Managing HSE interfaces between platforms and rigs or heavy lift vessels, including written scheme and IVB Management of key HSE service providers Management of contractor HSE deliverables and relevant on-site third-party staff Focal point for decommissioning technical safety engineer, ensuring technical safety deliverables such as safety cases are delivered in line with schedules Providing HSE direction for decommissioning & wells QHSE Plans Planning and implementation of Line of Defense audits and assurance activities (including contractors and critical suppliers within decommissioning & wells) Focal point within OpCo for key HSE processes e.g. CDM management Lead incident reporting, investigations, analysis and lessons learned   ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, we are looking for:  Excellent working knowledge of current offshore HSE legislation and practices specific to decommissioning, including decommissioning safety cases ISO Lead auditor or equivalent Collaborate closely with the wells and decommissioning team to understand and support operational priorities, while providing constructive and positive challenge. Strong Interpersonal and influencing skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Degree qualified in a suitable technical subject or HSE related Diploma (NEBOSH) Membership of appropriate professional body Offshore Medical and Survival Certificates essential   In addition to technical knowledge and credibility, we are looking for someone who lives our values - Agility, Collaboration, Courage, Care, and Delivery.
