Join our Castrol Team and advance your career as a European Indirect Procurement Manager - Logistics and Fuels Category Delivery Senior Advisor – Indirect Categories The Category Delivery Senior Advisor plays a key role in aligning regional procurement activities the strategic goals in the Castrol operations across Europe. This position focuses on delivering Manufacturing sub-category strategies (e.g., MRO, Engineered Equipment, MTI) as well as a broad range of other Indirect Categories, handling supplier relationships, and supporting sourcing initiatives across the EMEA region. The role involves: Collaborating with category teams and partners to implement procurement plans. Building a consolidated view of regional demand and identifying strategic sourcing opportunities. Supporting supplier performance reviews and segmentation. Partnering with global counterparts to align and aggregate demand. Ensuring all activities meet bp’s safety, compliance, and risk management standards. In this role You will: 1. Category Delivery & Regional Alignment Deliver category strategies within the region, ensuring alignment with global plans and business priorities Consolidate and handle regional demand plans, considering local market dynamics Support supplier performance management and issues when needed Strengthen supplier relationships and unlock value in line with category management policies 2. Team Integration & Collaboration Represent regional interests within category teams and across procurement. Develop technical and interpersonal skills, promoting bp’s values and psychological safety Ensure compliance with bp’s Code of Conduct and operational standards. 3. Supplier Management Build strong relationships with internal partners and suppliers. Communicate effectively using storytelling and influence to drive outcomes. Act as a trusted advisor, bringing market insights and championing supplier value. Maintain close coordination with FB&T procurement teams to ensure aligned priorities. 4. Transformation & Change Management Support transformation initiatives across procurement. Leverage digital tools to enhance efficiency and value creation. Collaborate with internal teams to drive category excellence and innovation. Promote adoption of new processes and technologies through effective communication. Key Challenges Navigating a geographically dispersed and multi-functional procurement environment. Handling complex customer relationships and multiple hand-offs across teams. Aligning regional delivery with global category strategies and business expectations. Scope & Impact Supports end-to-end procurement activities across Castrol’s European manufacturing sites Contributes to strategic sourcing across multiple sub-categories (e.g., MRO, Engineered Equipment, MTI) Participates in global demand aggregation and supplier performance reviews. Influences procurement outcomes at regional and global levels What You will need to be successful: Functional Knowledge ·Experience in Procurement delivery across a range of Indirect Categories, with a preference for Manufacturing Categories but an expectation of experience across a number of Indirect Categories Foundational knowledge of category management principles and relevant category areas, either theoretical or practical Understanding of how strategies are implemented across regions and assets Ability to quickly grasp business objectives and align them with category strategies Business Expertise Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills to build deep understanding of regional and business priorities Critical thinking Experience working within complex, multinational organizations Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives Leadership Acts as a subject matter expert supporting business and procurement goals Collaborates across categories, business units, and suppliers to achieve regional objectives Experience supporting international initiatives, w
