Pte Hw Lead V93k Test Hardware Engineer
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead V93K Test Hardware Engineer to drive test hardware bring-up, debug, and correlation activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring robust test hardware performance, production stability, and yield optimization across wafer sort and final test.Â
Key Responsibilities
1.   Test Hardware Bring-up & Qualification
Lead load board / probe card bring-up for new products on Advantest V93K platformÂ
Perform hardware checkout, validation, and debug during initial silicon bring-up
Drive GRR, stability, and repeatability qualification before production release
Work closely with design/Test Engineering teams during NPI to HVM transition
2.   Debug & Failure Analysis
Debug production failures related to test hardware, test interface, and signal integrity
Perform bench-to-ATE correlation and root cause analysis using lab equipment (Scope, DMM, Thermal tools)
Identify issues related to socket, load board, pogo pins, probe card, and contact failuresÂ
Support RMA, yield excursions, and lot-on-hold analysis
3.   Correlation & Production Release
Own ATE-to-ATE, ATE-to-bench, Load board to Load board correlation
Drive correlation reports and acceptance criteria for production readiness
Validate test limits, guard bands, and parametric consistency across sites
Ensure smooth hardware release to OSAT / production sites
4.   Production Support & Yield ImprovementÂ
Monitor hardware-related yield issues and drive root cause & corrective actionsÂ
Perform failure trend analysis, bin analysis, contact yield issues troubleshooting
Support test time reduction (TTR) and throughput optimization
Work closely with product engineering for continuous yield improvement (Aligned with yield improvement, correlation, and production analytics)Â
5.   Test Hardware Design & OptimizationÂ
Review and support schematic design, layout, and SI considerations for load boardsÂ
Optimize site configurations, signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal performance
Drive multi-site scalability and cost optimization of hardware solutions
6.   Cross-functional Leadership
Lead interaction with: Â Test Engineering (TE) Â Product Engineering (PE) Â Failure Analysis (FA) Â OSAT / Manufacturing teams
Mentor junior engineers and drive best known methods (BKM) for hardware debug & correlation
Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communicationÂ

Required Qualifications
Bachelorâs / Masterâs in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
10+ years of experience in semiconductor test / hardware engineeringÂ
Strong hands-on experience with: Â Advantest V93K (SmarTest 7/8) Â Load board / probe card bring-up and debug
Production test (WS & FT environment)Â
Deep understanding of:  Silicon bring-up, characterization, and correlation  Signal integrity, power delivery, and analog/digital measurementsÂ
ATE instrumentation (DPS, AVI, PPMU, HSIO) Â
Preferred Skills
Experience with high-volume manufacturing (HVM) supportÂ
Strong data analysis capability (JMP / Exensio / Excel)
Knowledge of test program structure and interaction with hardware
Exposure to JEDEC / AEC qualification and reliability testing.
Experience working with global teams and OSATs Â
